I have written in the past about Jasmy, how it was founded by former leaders of Sony. Jasmy is a cryptocurrency in Japan that focuses on security and data storage.
For those of you who don't know, it is called the "Japanese Bitcoin." It was the first legalized cryptocurrency in Japan.
In the past few days, Jasmy was up over 20%. That is a nice little short term boost. I have read on multiple media sites that there is speculation that Jasmy will partner with Sony. https://www.investing.com/news/cryptocurrency-news/positive-influence-in-jasmy-prompts-price-up-by-over-2068-in-24-hours-2972051
I have read about this speculation on multiple sites as I mentioned above. I am not sure if it is true. However, partnering with one of the world's largest media companies is not a bad thing. Given the low price of Jasmy, this partnership offers some long term stability and offers the possibility of some really nice gains for the cryptocurrency. I am going to keep an eye out for this news over the next few days and weeks.
Buying at current prices, and with an ATH over $3 if it returns to anything close to that over the next few years, there is great opportunity there. Even for a small investor like myself (I am not investing millions), this has some relatively low risk with some opportunity for a high reward. I say this not as investment advice, but to outline my own thinking as I only invest money I can afford to lose (In the grand scheme of things this is not a whole lot) and something I hope not to lose in order to help speed retirement and find some new hobbies (blacksmithing anyone?).
Here's to the future, either way, I am enjoying the journey.
