Crypto Bill News.

I was reading about cryptocurrency news today and came across this article: https://www.reuters.com/sustainability/boards-policy-regulation/coinbase-cannot-support-crypto-bill-current-form-ceo-armstrong-says-2026-01-15/

Now, I am not sure what to make of it, if the bill is really that bad as is, or if it is just Brian Armstrong working angels to improve it. I have read about the bill in general in the past few weeks, and believe it will ultimately be a good thing to have sensible regulation involving cryptocurrency.

Now, one of my favorite cryptocurrency is Cardano due to it's measured approach toe building itself through rigorous testing. I do have reservations on if it will leave itself behind if things don't take off soon, but we will see.  I write that because it is how I am thinking about the current bill up for debate. I am willing to be patient (I really have no choice, so metaphorically speaking) in the hopes they get it as right as it can be.

This is consistent with my post through the years, I believe cryptocurrency needs regulation, and I believe it is through the CFTC not the SEC.

I can't wait until we are five years down the road (not wishing away life, just wanting to see how the dust settles) in terms of cryptocurrency regulation and prices. I believe I got in at such good prices that I am still up two or three times my original investment even with the bad last half of 2025.

Here's to the future, hoping they get it as right as they can!!!

Cryptocurrency is a fascinating idea, one that has many confused, scared and dismissive of the concept. However, it also is intriguing and likely a large part of the future.
