I came across this article today: https://www.coindesk.com/policy/2023/12/19/42-different-countries-discussed-or-passed-crypto-regulations-legislation-in-2023-pwc/

The article talks about how in the year 2023, 42 countries passed or began addressing cryptocurrency regulations and or legislation. The article indicated 20 different countries enacted "comprehensive crypto regulatory frameworks."

I have been writing about how cryptocurrency needed to weed out the fraudsters and bring in regulation in order to have cryptocurrency meets it's enormous potential in the future. When we look back on 2023, we will see the failures. I see you SBF and CZ, FTX and Binance. We will also look at these 40 plus countries and understand how it laid the framework for the success being experienced. Now, those failures are a black eye on cryptocurrency, tomorrow (not literally) they will be seen as part of the healing and mainstream acceptance of cryptocurrency.

I know there is a solid foundation being built, and I am excited for the future.

Now, I know there are a lot more than 42 countries in the world, 195 to be exact. That is under 25%. There is long way to go, but it is a significant move in the right direction.

I can't wait to look back on this year in the future, and enjoy the benefits oc believing in, and investing in cryptocurrency when the stock was down so to speak!

Cryptocurrency is a fascinating idea, one that has many confused, scared and dismissive of the concept. However, it also is intriguing and likely a large part of the future.
