Another temple in Burma is the Bagaya Kyaung monastery located in Mandalay in the former capital of Burma, about 600 m from the city of Inva (Ava). It is one of the two architecturally unusual monasteries in Inwa, the other is Maha Aung Mye Bonzan in the north-eastern part of Inwa . The film shows the exterior of the monastery. This is probably one of the most peaceful places on our trip route.

The entire structure stands on 267 wooden columns, which in turn are anchored on stone pedestals. Such a construction is very resistant to shocks and withstood the earthquake of 1839, which caused the capital to be abandoned and moved to the city of Amarapura.

Jako, że lubię obiekty drewniane czułem się tam doskonale. Cała konstrukcja stoi na 267 drewnianych kolumnach, a te z kolei zakotwiczone są na kamiennych cokołach. Kontrukcja taka jest bardzo odporna na wstrząsy i wytrzymała trzęsienie ziemi z 1839 roku, które spowodowało, opuszczenie stolicy i przeniesienie jej do miasta Amarapura.
