Ktoś pamięta tak zwane pałki, fachowo nazywa się to pałka szerokolistna, i występuje na brzegach stawów i jezior. Za młodych czasów, była to atrakcja, a nawet czasami ozdoba tkwiąca w wazonach w miejscach reprezentatywnych w wielu domach.

Sroki też dzisiaj były skore do współpracy. Spokojnie siedziały na gałęziach, i migawka aparatu nie była dla nich problemem.
