BITCOIN ENTERED IN THE GUINNESS BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS

Bitcoin enters Guinness Book of World Records

Time for some fun news as a break for all the sacks and whatnots that are normally among the headlines.

The record of the first-ever decentralized cryptocurrency

Bitcoin joins the illustrious crowd of record holders. But it appears that some errors have snuck in with the fact blurbs that go along with the entry. As an example, they recorded the wrong date for the publication of the original Bitcoin white paper which was on October 31, 2008.

And they also have two strikes regarding Satoshi Nakamoto's hidden Bitcoin stash. They cite it as being 600,000 $BTS that is residing in an inactive wallet. But the truth is that it in actuality is several wallets, as well as closer to 1 million $BTC.

But I guess we have to take what we can get. =) The more mainstream exposure that crypto gets the better it will be as it should speed up the rate of adoption.

Do you know of any other interesting and unexpected places where Bitcoin has popped up in? Please share them with me if you do. If you would like to support me and the content I make, please consider following me, reading my other posts, or why not do both instead.
