DEX recap - decentralized exchange (DEX) have experienced incredible growth in the past 12 months. Partly as DEXs evolved away from slow, clunky interfaces to easy-to-use sites protocols etc. DEX now have a volume north of $2B daily, seems like a market ripe for a shake up from a rockstar tech offering.

What is ThetaSwap? ThetaSwap is the first decentralized exchange (DEX) built upon Theta blockchain. While using an open-source smart contract system built based on Automated Market Maker logic similar to that of wildly successful UniSwap.

Enter ThetaSwap - It allows users to exchange their newly-created TNT20 tokens built on Theta blockchain in a trustless, non-custodial way. Additionally, ThetaSwap enables these new use cases in Theta ecosystem that require market-traded assets to function. ThetaSwap allows trading of TFUEL and TNT20 tokens. Follow-on versions will add functionality for THETA trading via a version of the THETA token in a TNT20 wrapper (similar to wETH or wBTC which you may have used in other DeFi protocols), a constrcut called wTHETA. wTHETA will be used in ThetaSwap.
