Theta Network updates - AI, Validators, EdgeCloud and more
Despite my constant disappointment with Theta price and my negative equity, I remain tuned into their blockchain advancements. Here are a couple of summaries for their advancements which I found intriguing.
Theta expands Enterprise Validator with ZAN, Ant Digital Tech firm
You have read via my older Theta blogs Theta's Enterprise Validator list reads like a list of who's who. And it bears repeating for those new to Pub0x.
Binance, CAA,Cloudician, Deutsche, Docom+o, Telekom, Google, Samsung, and Sony.
Historically, Theta revealed how many tokens were unlocked to 'fund' new Enterprise Validators...oddly this is missing from the announcement.
ZAN has a full suite of blockchain infrastructure and developer services to this partnership.
All of which are powered by AntChain Open Labs’ TrustBase technology stack:

When all the tools are combined they strengthen the resilience, scalability and security of the already robust Theta blockchain.

EdgeCloud gets smarter with PageIndex
PageIndex indexes documents at the section level, so each guide section, article, or rule update becomes its own retrievable unit. Where as legacy data retrieval breaks down on structured content. Put another way they slice documents into fixed-length text blocks, retrieve whichever block scores highest against the query, and hope the relevant information makes it in. Sure its AI but it has a very specific role making it different than most AI tools.
How is PageIndex different?
It indexes document at the section level. Each guide section, article, or rule update becomes its own retrievable unit. Thus when a user asks a specific question, the agent pulls the specific section that answers it rather than a broad chunk from somewhere nearby.
Theta's is adding PageIndex to its assorted toolbox to ensure the right tool is applied to the right content and providing the correct answer without a lot of wasted compute effort.
Summary
Theta's ecosystem continues to grow to support their shared GPU offering (EdgeCloud) and ZAN brings strength, resilience, scalability to Theta blockchain. While PageIndex was added to their toolbox to ensure the right tool is applied to the right content minimize wasted compute efforts.
