Their Data Analytics & Machine Intelligence (DAMI) Lab
Where they focus upon, large scale AI, under the direction of many including, Professor Kyeongpil Kang while specializing in Data Mining, ML (Machine Learning) and NLP (Natural Language Processing). The core tenants of DAMI Lab include:
- Data Mining & AI-Driven Insights: Applying machine learning and LLM-powered analytics to fields such as social sciences and medical AI, uncovering insights to tackle complex problems.
- Machine Learning & Deep Learning: Addressing domain-specific AI challenges by constructing training datasets and developing deep learning solutions for real-world applications.
- Natural Language Processing & Large Language Models (LLMs): Researching LLM fine-tuning, Chain of Thought (CoT), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI Alignment. DAMI Lab also explores LLM Agent performance optimization and simulation-based learning.

Kangwon is their 23rd AI / Video customer. Worth noting with Kangwon's projected workload this brings Theta's overall GPU utilization rate up to 85% which is very impressive from an overall workload perspective. They will assist DAMI Lab with the following:
