2022 ULTIMATE CRYPTOCURRENCY TOURNAMENT - Theta the Cinderella Story
Update late March - Hedera went on to defeat Theta and ultimately to win the whole Tournament!
Here in the USA, March is well known for St. Patty's day and March Madness (The College Basketball Tournament) that sends everyone into a frenzy.
Not to be outdone Crypto has leveraged this mayhem to produce a fictional Crypto Tournament. This year the second year of the tournament, the first took place during the Global COVID lockdown.
This years Crypto Tournament started 03/16/2022 on Twitter. The tourney started w/ 64 Tokens, and that quickly became 32 tokens.
So far Theta has completed two (2) upsets:
- 1st was on 03/18/22 when Theta defeated Cosmos
- 2nd was on 03/21/22 when Theta which was ranked 12th beat out Polygon which was ranked 4th.
Up next - Theta moves to the Sweet 16 and compete against Hedera which is ranked 9th. In this next challenge, IF Theta can beat out Hedera they will compete against the powerful Cardano or Polkadot. When, Theta moves on after that, it is the Final 4!
