THETA GUARDIAN NODE

Eventhough Theta Guardian Node is relatively simple to run,  from time to time it does need some maintence.

I have found the most common issue is the Node stuck in Syncing.

Most times manually deleting TGN "Database" and "Snapshot" helps to resolve the issue.

Follow the steps below to Delete the Database and Snapshot. Please leave a comment if this does not resolve your issue or if you are having a different issue with your Theta Guardian Node please leave a comment below.

If you Theta Guardian Node is not syncing, follow these steps to troubleshoot the issue:

Step #1

1- Check performance Tier. Set it to Standard

Step #2

1. Close Theta Guardian Node App

2. Go to Folder: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Theta Guardian Node\ThetaGN\configs\mainnet

3. Manually Delete the "snapshot" file in this directory, and the "db" directory under this folder (NOTE: be careful NOT to delete the key/ directory and the config.yaml file)

4 Restart the Theta GN app
