The change
Yesterday Publish0x announced that they are partnering up with Kucoin, a crypto exchange.
The reason for that is simple, it is to reduce the costs. In February Publish0x paid over 12 ETH to cover for the gas fees to pay out the author and voting rewards. This is of course not sustainable. So they were looking for a solution.
First they did looked for a layer 2 Ethereum solution but none of them was a great fit. As a surprise they did partner up with Kucoin.
They do expect this going live somewhere next week and to celebrate this they will deposit a 10% bonus for the ones using the new payment solution. So if you do request a payment of 1 ETH, you will get 1.1 ETH!
This promotion is only valid for the first 2 weeks.
So when using the new payment solution, the earned crypto will directly deposited into you Kucoin account.
Kucoin

According to Publish0x there are 3 reasons for this partnership!
-
KuCoin is a well respected exchange.
-
KuCoin requires no KYC unless you trade or withdraw 5 BTC worth of crypto (unless there's suspicious activity with your account). Details about KYC on KuCoin can be read here.
-
You can withdraw both ETH and AMPL to KuCoin.
If you don't have an account on Kucoin, you can create one here via my referral link: Kucoin
Cheers,
Peter
