I agree with fellow P0xer @Bragato18 on his depiction of Jack Bogle as a real super hero when it came to the pioneering ideas he had about investing 45+ years ago. Considered a classic in investing circles, Bogle’s Common Sense on Mutual Funds is a must read when it comes to understanding index funds. Index funds are usually a core holding in many investor portfolios. In fact, @Bragato18 had read Bogle's book as part of an investment reading list some years ago. "[The] theory was go for low fees, whole market funds. Then let time work its magic," commented @Bragato18 about Common Sense on Mutual Funds.
