Cointiply - The best crypto earning site yet?

Welcome to another episode of 'The Quest for Free Crypto', which is a blog series looking at the various ways in which you can earn cryptocurrency for free.

Having tried out a number of faucets, I stumbled across Faucet Crypto, which is a faucet site that also includes a number of options for increasing your earnings by completing tasks such as surveys, offers and viewing ads. You can read my review of Faucet Crypto here, but the main issue that I had with the site is that the rate of earning was quite low (although you can pick up small amounts of crypto at a steady rate with very little effort).

Cointiply is another faucet/ earning site that I'd come across just after Faucet Crypto, so I decided to join and see if the earning rate was any better...

Cointiply

The Cointiply website includes a number of features similar to Faucet Crypto, although there are a wider range of offers available to complete, including a range of app install offers that are available either by the website or via the Android app. Unfortunately, as I don't have access to an Android device, I've been unable to complete any of these offers, but they do look like they pay pretty well from the one that can be viewed online.

In addition to this is the faucet, which can be accessed once per hour, as well as a 'Multiplier' game, which is essentially a way in which you can gamble the currency that you have earned, with the chance of multiplying your stake by 61.3!

In addition to this, there are also various other mechanisms in play that enable you to increase the amount of Coins that you earn through the site - these include things such as 'experience levels' , items (which are purchased through spending 'Cointipoints', which are earned alongside 'experience points'). and the 'Rain Pool' (a pot of Coins that are filled and distributed to all users that have opted-in via the website - this must be re-activated each time that the pool empties (which is roughly every 30 - 60 minutes).

Coins

As with many of these sites, Cointiply uses it's own currency (coins) that is earned when completing tasks, which can be exchanged for your choice of cryptocurrency once you have reached the minimum withdrawal amount.  At the top of the page, the website shows your current Coin tally, as well as detailing the current balance in both USD & BTC. From this, we can see that each coin earned via the website is worth 0.01 cents.

The four cryptocurrencies on offer via Cointiply are Bitcoin (which has a minimum withdrawal of 50,000 Coins), as well as Doge, Dash & Litecoin (which each have a 30,000 Coin minimum withdrawal).

Another pretty nice feature of the website is that you can earn interest on any Coin balance over 35000 coins, at a rate of 5% per year (paid weekly). To receive this, you must first opt-in via your 'Account settings' menu.

The faucet

The faucet that is available is quite different to most of the other faucets that I've seen - when using the faucet, a random number is generated, which is then used to determine the number of Coins that are paid out, which ranges from 25 Coins (for numbers between 1 and 69,999, which rises to 322 if you 'Roll' a number between 99,000 and 99,998. If you happen to 'roll' a prime number (i.e. any number that is divisible only by 1 and itself), then an additional 59 coins are added to your payout.

The faucet faucet also includes a jackpot that is paid out for anyone that 'rolls' 99,999, which is generally somewhere around 500,000 Coins , which would obviously be a very welcome boost!

Surveys

One of the best ways to earn Coins in Cointiply is through the completion of surveys,, which can pay over 13000 Coins ($1.30) for a single survey! Having participated in surveys through other sites before, I have found that these can be pretty lucrative as a result of these relatively high payouts, even when completing shorter (lower-paying) surveys.

One issue I sometimes find with surveys (although this is by no means specific to Cointiply) is that researchers are often looking for specific demographics, which might mean that it takes a few attempts before you're actually accepted for the full survey. That said, Cointiply does link to a relatively high number of survey providers (12 at the time of writing), which means that there are plenty of alternatives to try if you have this issue.

It's worth noting that some of the survey providers do offer partial payouts for the completion of the screening questions, although these are in the minority.

App install offers/ other offers

Another way of earning coins through Cointiply is through the completion of various offers/ app installs. These typically require that you download and install an app, sign up and play an online game or sign up and use a particular website.

The payouts for these offers seem really quite high, so this could also be a relatively good way to earn a decent amount of Coins, however I have not yet completed any of these types of offers (as I mainly visit the site on iOS) so cannot say for sure.

One thing I had noticed when browsing this section of the site during my research is that some of these offers do require that you pay for particular games/ in-app purchases/ services as part of the offer, so you would need to consider whether you would be happy to part with cash to receive a rebate in these cases (although there are many that do not require any spending).

Playing games

Cointiply features a wide range of simple online games that can be played to earn Coins. These games include things such as Mahjong, Sudoku and crosswords, as well as other familiar-looking games such as 'Jewel Shuffle' and 'Bubble Shooter'. During the course of playing these games, a timer will fill, which will result in the payment of Coins. As I had only really come across this option recently, and unfortunately had been unsuccessful when trying to load up any of the games, I'm unable to really cast much judgment over this aspect of the website. The website does specify that adblockers, etc. should be turned off when playing these games, although this didn't seem to fix the issue (for me).

Watching videos

Another failry novel way of earning Coins via Cointiply is through watching video adverts. There are 5 providers currently available for this method of earning, although not all providers cater to all localities or devices, so this will be very much down to your own availability. The earnings for viewing ads seems to vary considerably, although the minimum seems to be around 15-25 Coins per advert, which doesn't seem a bad way to earn additional Coins with little effort.

PTC (Paid-To-Click) ads

As with a number of other similar sites that I have seen, Cointiply also offers PTC ads as a method of earning Coins. While these are relatively low-paying activities (usually ranging from 6 - 40 coins), they are a reliable way of topping up your balance - currently there are 21 to be completed, with a total payout of 241 Coins. These ads generally require that you view the ad for 5 - 40 seconds,, before completing a captcha to receive your payout.

Android app/ Mobile site

Cointiply also has an android app available, which (I believe) includes different opportunities to those presented in the website, however I have not been able to review the app as I don't have an Android device. However, the website does state that there are different opportunities available to both desktop and mobile users, so it is worth bearing in mind that there are these additional ways that can be used to increase your earning potential through the site.

The verdict

Cointiply seems to offer one of the widest variety of earning opportunities of this type of website, with numerous ways that you can add different amounts of Coins to your balance, depending on how much effort you feel like putting in.

I've been a member of this website now for around 3 weeks, and have to admit I haven't used it as much as I would have liked to have, In spite of this, through having a couple of hours of surveys, I have already been able to withdraw Bitcoin twice from Cointiply. Both of these withdrawals were received within 24 hours, and there are additional security measures in place when withdrawing, to ensure that this has been initiated by the user.

Overall, Cointiply seems to offer a very reasonable balance between effort and payout, and for that reason I will continue to use it as a reliable way of earning additional chunks of crypto. As with other similar websites, you will not get rich from the earnings made from Cointiply, but I do believe that you could earn a nice chunk of change if you put the effort in - something that cannot be said for some of the other sites that I have reviewed so far.

As ever, I have added a couple of links to Cointiply throughout this article, which you can use to sign up for the site if it seems like something you might be interested in. These links are referral links, which will give me a small commission for users signing up via that link. Using this link does not reduce your earnings in any way, but if you would rather sign up without the referral link, simply click the link and delete everything after the '.com' before clicking 'Refresh'.

Next time

I've signed up to a couple of other sites that offer similar earning opportunities to those found on Cointiply, so I may well review one of these in my next post and see if any of them can give even better earning levels. I also began my journey into blockchain gaming, starting with Alien Worlds, Upland and Prospectors, so these will also be reviewed in the near future.
