So, as promised I am writing a current list of apps I use to earn both crypto and just straight cash. Cause ya know I kinda like straight cash too but I guess that might just be me. Anyway, I will say that my app usage has been down lately. My spare time for gaming or apping or just goofing off in general has gone down as my work load has gone up. But I do still make a fair few pennies via apps so I suppose it hasn't gone down too much.
The apps I currently have fall into 1 of 4 categories but the ones that fit into this article fall into 1 of 3. Data earning apps, game usage apps, and of course apps that pay you a percentage of what they earn when you watch their ads. So, ad earning apps.
I think we will delve into my data earning apps list first since it is literally the shortest. There is one app that fits this category and that is HoneyGain. HoneyGain is nice because instead of actively needing to spend time on or in it; it stays on in the background. I haven't noticed it sapping my battery too much but anything that runs ALL the time is gonna shorten battery life.

The second smallest category is the game usage app category. I technically use 2 but only one is a true game usage app and that is Mistplay. Mistplay does not use ads. The games they promote do but they themselves don't. So, the games they advertise pay them every time we hit a game goal point and then we get paid a portion of whatever they are paid for that. The other app I use that can be in this category is JustPlay and I say can because it is a hybrid in a sense. I think the main earning actually comes from the ads they show, however, they do have games and reward you for hitting whatever the point goal at that time is as well.

Then of course we have the last category which is the biggest one. Every one of these apps pay you for watching ads via their platforms because they get paid when we do. So, they give us a small cut. I've written about the B Programmers apps before; I still use them and they still pay out. Atlas Earth is a little different then the rest of them in that they literally act like they give you rent for owning virtual properties. It's all the rage lately. I see so many apps and sites that follow this model right now. It's new and interesting but it's the same as the other ad apps in that advertising is how they make their money and pay some out to you. You all are likely familiar with Brave. It's one of my favorite internet browsers anymore and just about all I use unless it just isn't compatible with something. I'm also a huge fan of BAT which you can earn by using the platform and viewing their ads as well which is fantastic for BAT lovers such as myself. I earn a dollar or 2 using it monthly. Then there are the Bling apps, Fone apps, and some of the apps by Alien Programmers. These all still pay and I use them when I have the time.

I use a lot of other apps besides these, but these ones fit best in this category; they are all connected to crypto except the 2 game data apps (JustPlay and MistPlay) and I've written about most of them here before.
I make around $50-$75 with all of these apps when I have the time to use them properly.
There is one app I've written about that I don't use very much anymore and that is cointiply. I don't know if it's just my phone or what but the game rewards part does not work and actually hasn't for a few phones now. Initially I submitted a ticket asking why my phone wasn't compatible with it because that's what they say (even though I use similar rewards programs for gaming with the same phone). Not only did they not answer my ticket but they marked it as closed or whatever they call it before working it all out with me. So, now not only am I NOT a fan of the app I also can't back the devs. The only thing that app is good for is the passive earning interest when you have 30,000 coins anymore. But if your device isn't “compatible” with the game data earning part that takes a REALLY long time. Unless you have all day to spend on surveys...I am not one of those people but all the more power to those that are.
