Hello to everyone keeping track of my Rate My Push-ups journey. Well, actually, it really isn’t a “journey” so much as it’s a process.

The reason it’s not a “journey” is because there isn’t much guesswork involved for me. Almost everything I’m doing is planned out, and the outcomes I expect will happen without much uncertainty. This doesn’t mean I haven’t — or won’t — experience some ups and downs along the way. However, my mind will never focus on any part of the process as negative — it’s simply a process. This is also why I don’t look at my 21-day fast as a journey. Journeys are full of unknowns. What I’m doing is known — if not by anyone else, then at least by me.

I’m not one for showing a bunch of before-and-after pictures, and I’m not looking to guide anyone else through their own fasting process. If you want tips about health and fitness, you can read one or two of my books. As a former competitive bodybuilder, I may have a few tips that will help you.

That said, if you gain a bit of knowledge or motivation from reading this article or watching my push-up videos, good on you. I wish you all the best.

What I’m looking for here is simple: watch my Rate My Push-ups video and give it an honest rating or critique.

Don’t be shy — I don’t mind being judged by others. I believe we can learn from anyone, whether they’ve mastered something or not. Sure, some people in this world are fools, but even the foolish teach us something: what not to mirror.

And I’ll add this:
If you want to be good at anything — fasting, push-ups, or life in general — you’ve got to get your mind right first.

I don’t have a push-up goal, and I no longer set exercise targets — but I know this for sure: if you don’t have a focus point and a purpose, accomplishing anything is going to be a rough go. My focus is always on ADM — Always Do More — and that takes me wherever it takes me, usually to complete muscle exhaustion.

Okay, the updates: I began this process — and maybe I’ve referred to it as a “journey” in another article, mainly because it’s the language everyone is using these days — but I digress…

I started at a weight of 205 lbs. in the morning, which likely meant 207 or more during the day. (Fat ass… lol. But we’ll say 205.) My weight markers on the scale didn’t start until I was already down into the 180s, so there’s no proof I weighed 205 or more. But no one lies about being overweight, right?

Alright, let’s look at my fasting weight-loss markers before getting into the push-ups video.

You can do anything you set your mind beyond.
Yes, that’s different from the saying “you can do anything you set your mind to.” My version is different because I believe you shouldn’t set your mind “to it,” but instead set your mind “beyond it.”

Look to move further than your current mind into something more expansive.

Example: my mind isn’t set to do a 21-day fast — even though that’s how long it is. I’m already mentally primed to go longer, which creates in my mind a completion date pushed out beyond the actual finish line.

What happens is my mind can’t focus on the “last days” of the fast as being difficult, because it really doesn’t know when the last day is.

Will I fast longer? Maybe. But that’s not the point.

The point is the psychological advantage I have over my “quitting self’s” voice. It’s all a mind game — and I never lose.

Here are some ideas I had at different stages of my fasting process. You may find something here useful to your own path.

1. When you're fasting, reality moves a little differently. Meditation, sunlight, and mindful breathing become ways to literally give yourself life.

2. I believe everyone should engage in the process of fasting. Why? Because fasting shucks the evil off of you. It’s hard to be a jackass of a person when you’re in fasting mode. After a while, your engagement with your higher intelligence simply won’t allow it.

3. I tapped into a real superpower during my fasting process. I kid you not — if you aren’t fasting, you’re missing out on elevated powers: clear thinking, awareness, calm, self-love, joy, laser focus, inner strength, creative energy — and more. These aren’t just nice-to-haves. They’re real benefits that I’ve experienced firsthand. And no, you don’t get them any other way.

4. Escaping the Matrix: Fasting allows you to step outside the Matrix of this destructive society — even if just for a while. If you want a fresh perspective on the world, fasting will take you there. Most people aren’t even aware that the reality they think is “real”... isn’t. It’s true. Back in 1954, just after WW2, a small group of people — with control on their minds — made the decision to falsify and direct the flow of information. Everything we now know as true or false? It was carefully constructed.
Fasting helps you start to see through that lie.

5. When your body isn't processing food through eating, it redirects the surplus energy to healing. Technically, I shouldn't be able to do more than around 15 or 25 push-ups at this stage in my fast, but it's quite the opposite, as you can see in the video. I'm actually stronger — not just doing push-ups, but also squats, shoulder raises, curls, and ab work, all at the same time. My body is healing, and that healing is making me stronger. I only recorded the push-up portion because of the name Rate My Push-ups — but trust me, there’s more going on behind the scenes.

6. There’s poison in your mind and body. I don’t care who you are — if you live in America and don’t grow your own food, you’ve been poisoned at some level. The producers of food in this country have deliberately added toxins to what we eat. People are getting sick — in some cases so sick they don’t even realize they’re killing themselves just by eating.
Fasting gives your body a break from all of that. And when you give your body that space, it fights back. The body is a machine — and that machine comes with a built-in self-preservation system. Fasting in my opinion allows that system to go to work at full power.

7. Meditation has allowed me to — and you may not believe this — access information beyond my regular consciousness. I bet you didn’t know: all people meditate. It’s natural.
People talk about meditation like it’s some special feat, but it’s really not. If you’ve ever sat quietly and focused on something while noticing your breath — that’s meditation.
But if you don’t do it deliberately and consciously, you may not understand what I’m talking about here.

There’s a — let’s call it — river of consciousness that we all pull from. Remember that one idea you had... that later showed up as a product on the market? That idea came from that river. There are free ideas floating in this river, and not just for you — for all of us.
Fasting, paired with meditation, lets you access that river faster and more clearly than ever. The longer you fast, the greater the access.

Right now, I’m pulling from it so fast that I’ve created an app like no other in the world. I’ve written down countless business ideas, I’m writing non-stop, and honestly... I can barely keep up.
I need a team. 😂
Anyway, I think you get the point.
