The reason why part 1
Your reason for building a business
One of the most important part of this journey is to ask yourself why. The reason why or reasons why will eventually help you become even more passionate about your business. Personally our reasons why were clear, we wanted to provide our family with more income, spend more time at home with our family and love ones, build a business that would help support our goals of becoming healthier.
The reason why part 2
Your reason for building that type of business
There are several types of businesses you can build, many that are under five thousand dollars. After hundreds of hours researching for the best business we could build for our family, we finally ended with two options. First option, was to build a chicken farm business, we thought to ourselves that would be great to add chickens to our homestead, depending on the chicken you don’t even have to care much for them, some chickens can live off your land and scavenge for their own food. Second option, was to build a quail farm business, we thought to ourselves if raising chickens is nice, imagine raising quails.
The reason why part 3
Conclusion
We choose the option to raise quails as the center piece of our farm business, for the following reasons. First, we wanted to build a farm business in a way that it could bring the most profit possible while allowing us options to reduce the cost of productivity. we were able to make this possible after we learned that quails don’t required as much space as chickens do, which in return means we had the option to either use less land for our business or increase the amount of quails on our land, since we already had land we decided to increase the amount of quails, which allowed us to divide the cost of production to a larger number of quails therefore, providing us greater profits.
Second, quails also hatch faster than chickens, on average quail eggs hatch between six-teen to eight-teen days so we are able to increase our inventory of quails faster, providing us with a larger number of eggs. Third, egg production, with quails it’s much faster than chickens. Quails mature at around seven weeks and began laying eggs between seven to eight weeks, compare to chickens, which mature at around six-teen to twenty-four weeks. Fourth, quails are quiet birds compared to chickens. Fifth and final reason we chose the option to raise quails over chickens, the large growing demand for their eggs and meat.
