Man. It's crazy how cryptocurrency was meant to free us from the hands of government control and then the operators of some crypto send us right back into those hands.
If you haven't guessed yet, the title is referring to Tether and it's new move to block wallets from Venezuela because of sanctions: https://cryptonews.com/news/tether-to-freeze-addresses-evading-sanctions-on-venezuelan-oil-exports.htm . Well, we now know that tether can't be trusted as a stable coin. So, now what's the next move ? In my opinion, we can make some money off of this situation by selling an alternate stable coin to Venezuelan people via a decentralized wallet .
Here is a list of alternative stable coins : https://coinmarketcap.com/view/stablecoin/ . With that, you can hit social networks like Facebook, Reddit, Instagram and Twitter to reach out to Venezuelan influencers and have them refer you customers for a cut of the profit. Charge at least 5 to 10% per sale and have the people send you an Amazon gift card or something similar that you can sell for cash or crypto on your end. Or you can be attempt to open up a Venezuelan bank account and conduct business through there but be sure to transfer your money out daily.
