Lego Hack

Lego Hack

By The Neath | The Darkside Of Crypto | 6 Oct 2024

A crypto fraud seems to have been perpetrated against the LEGO Shop, which appears to have been hacked. I would advise you to exercise extreme caution and keep a tight check on your bank accounts if you are out shopping. When you first arrive to the main page, the trick is shown in the banner; however, after a few seconds, it transforms into the standard banner that features the Jabba's Sail Barge.

If you chance to click on the links, you will be sent to a marketplace where they are selling "LEGO Tokens" using Ethereum. Because LEGO does not deal in cryptocurrency, I would not purchase or trade any of it. For the heads up, I would like to thank ZTBricks.

As at this moment, it seems like the website has been upgraded. Getting things done in a timely manner is commendable, but we will have to wait and see whether there was any harm done.
