Hello everybody welcome to the first post by me, The Crypto Bat. Today we are going to talk about the future of Ethereum in 2022.

Right now as of 1/28/2022 the price of one Ethereum is $2,534.48 However, the all-time high just three months ago was $4,878.26 One year ago to date the price of Ethereum was $1,328.77 This means that Ethereum went up over 300% from last year to the all-time high.

Ethereum Achievements in 2021

Burn program

Ethereum successfully launched there burn program on August 1st, 2021. To date, they have burned 1,685,832 Ethereum, which is $4,270,909,147.

While Ethereum is still not deflationary, yet, this does help to stabilize the total supply.

Volume

Ethereum has a lot of volume with over fourteen billion dollars being traded daily.

Developers

Right now there are over 4,000 developers that are working on Ethereum.

Erc-20 Chain

Ethereum is not only a token but also a platform to launch other tokens. To date, there are 489,602 different Ethereum tokens (Erc-20 tokens).

Defi

One of the most popular kinds of platforms made on Ethereum is Decentralized Finance A.K.A Defi. One of the most popular Defi exchanges is Uniswap. Uniswap has a total volume of seven hundred and eighty-six billion dollars in volume.

Ethereum 2.0

Ethereum is set to launch there newest update Eth 2.0 very soon. This update will help to reduce the price of transaction fees and to fully transform the protocol from proof of work (mining) to proof of stake (staking).

Conclusion

From all these factors it is safe to say that Ethereum has a lot of growth potential. In my opinion, Ethereum can easily go up 200%-300% this year.
