Summary
Hey everybody, welcome to another Tellor update. I know we missed last week, so we'll try to get everyone up to speed on what's been happening over the past two weeks.
So, we're finally back from ETH Denver. We were sponsoring and had a booth set up. There couldn't have asked for a better outcome. It was pretty much non-stop people coming up to the booth and it was a really good thing that we had everyone there that we did to kind of field all those questions and get the name out there. Lots of good conversations that were had. We actually go into more depth on it on the town hall call that we had this Tuesday. If you want to listen back, we recorded that, just go into our discord and we're pointing in the right direction there. In development news, we've been working with Ricochet to get that integration up and running. Looks to be about a month out. I think we're still waiting on a possible audit on the Ricochet side but we're really excited to be working with Mike Genn, who was out with us in Denver. Really great guys and a great protocol. So, keep an eye out for that also.
Some big news; we got accepted for a grant to get an oracle over on the Harmony protocol. Harmony is a layer one blockchain solution that is EVM compatible, so that should be a nice smooth transition to get the harmony users using Tellor as their oracle. We're also looking into going over on Cosmos as we were able to gather from ETH Denver that there's some oracle needs over there. So, if you're a developer in the community that's familiar with cosmos, feel free to reach out, we love your input and happy to compensate via bounties. Also, for Algorand, we just passed our first phase where we kind of present our first implementation to the team and now we move into the next phase where we get a little bit more detailed in the build out which should be about two to three months. So, still a way out, but a good milestone to show that we're on the right path on the reporter side. We set up a new auto pay contract that should help streamline the user experience. We're actually testing this out with a couple feeds, namely the DIA/USD feed and the AMPL/USD feed. If you're a reporter on Polygon and you would like to get some rewards, go ahead and start reporting on those and then give us some feedback if there's any issues there that we can help troubleshoot. And then lastly our CTO Nick Fett will be doing a presentation on regulatory issues for oracles and prediction markets. This was actually a talk Nick gave to the CFTC a few weeks back, we just thought it would be really interesting material for the community and the entire ecosystem, so we wanted to have him redo it so we can get it on camera. You can join and ask any questions you want or you can just view it and we'll post it on Youtube.
That does it for this week, thanks for watching and stay tuned for the next Tellor update.
