The Syntropy team's participation in the Pacific Telecommunications Council '23 conference in Hawaii was a resounding success. With 35 scheduled meetings with influential players in the ICT ecosystem, the team was able to generate substantial interest in partnerships and collaborations with Syntropy. The meetings were productive and resulted in positive outcomes and volumes of feedback, with many entities showing a keen interest in Syntropy's innovative solutions. Our team has locked in 19 verbal agreements to pursue follow-up meetings with technical teams and efficiently onboard new partners to our ecosystem.

Internet Service Providers (ISPs) were particularly impressed with the Syntropy Relay Network. They expressed a strong interest in operating relay nodes and relaying traffic of non-direct customers. This would optimize Syntropy's customer traffic and provide them with a platform to access new markets and unlock potential revenue streams without capital investments into physical infrastructure expansion. The ISPs were particularly impressed with the DARP protocol, which provides valuable insights into network performance and allows them to compare their infrastructure to that of their competitors.

Syntropy sales and partnerships team will collaborate closely with all ecosystem providers for referrals and introductions to their clients with Syntropy and its solutions directly. This will help the Internet providers to address their clients' specific network design and resilience challenges and provide them with unique value propositions.

Syntropy is also exploring opportunities of joining software marketplaces operated by its strategic partners. This will help expand its reach to direct developer audiences and improve the company's exposure to different markets and global use-cases. Various collaborations with ISPs will enable Syntropy to create new revenue streams and increase its customer pipeline size.

Data Centers and Interconnection companies were also interested in Syntropy's solutions. They see Syntropy as an additional connectivity provider to relay traffic over to exotic destinations that are currently difficult to reach with their existing partner network. Syntropy technology and strategic partner ecosystem helps to expand their network beyond the limits of their own infrastructure.

Additionally, Syntropy received invitations to join their software marketplaces to grow our developer community and create new revenue streams. By nurturing these relationships with partners and customers, Syntropy can increase its customer pipeline size and expand its broad reach in various industries.

Internet Exchanges see the potential of Syntropy technology to route traffic over exotic locations where peering or IP transit is too expensive or difficult to achieve at low latencies and zero packet loss. They showed interest in monetizing excess bandwidth by operating relay nodes and listing Syntropy Stack on their software marketplaces. Additionally, most Internet Exchanges verbally agreed to refer Syntropy to their clients who face challenges in network design and resilience of their global network deployment. By leveraging relationships with Internet Exchanges, Syntropy will expand its reach and offer its technology to a broader audience of companies in different verticals and markets.

To summarize, the Syntropy team's participation in the PTC'23 conference in Hawaii was a resounding success, generating substantial interest in partnerships and collaborations with influential players in the ICT ecosystem. The team has secured 15+ verbal agreements to pursue follow-up meetings with tech teams and received multiple invitations to join software marketplaces operated by ISPs, data centers and interconnection companies, and Internet exchanges. With these new potential partnerships and upcoming opportunities, the sales and partnerships team will work closely to capture all value from each meeting over the next three months. By leveraging these relationships, Syntropy will expand its reach, increase its customer pipeline size, and create new revenue streams, positioning Syntropy Stack and Relay Network as a leader in the ICT ecosystem.

Syntropy Team Blitz is an initiative to bring the Syntropy team closer to the community. Every month, we interview someone from the team and ask several questions to understand their thinking and get insight into what keeps them busy.

This month, we have Beata Lipska joining us. Let’s hop right into the interview!

What are you responsible for at Syntropy?

Hi there! I'm Beata, and I'm the Developer Advocate at Syntropy. If you need clarification about what I do, let me explain: I serve as the connection between the engineering, product, and marketing teams internally, and I work with developers who are already using or interested in using our ecosystem. Every day brings something new – I'm always learning, writing documentation and tutorials, planning projects, receiving feedback, and ensuring our users get the most out of our services. It's a thrilling experience!

What made you pursue a career in developer relations?

I was an engineer, coding in PHP and Golang, but I felt something was missing – the human connection. I wanted to do more than write code; I wanted to build communities and make engineering more practical through tutorials and documentation. So, I decided to pursue a career in Developer Relations, combining my passion for technology and people. Now, I am enthusiastic about making things more straightforward, educating others, and meeting new and interesting people – and I couldn't be happier!

We have the freedom to experiment with new ideas and the flexibility to adapt quickly to changing circumstances. It's a genuinely motivating environment where you can create the Internet of tomorrow with the support of a dedicated and skilled team. It's a fantastic journey, and I'm honored to be a part of it!

What are the biggest challenges you’ve had to overcome as DevRel?

I took a leap of faith and left my stable software engineering career to pursue my true passion. Since joining Syntropy in June 2022, I've focused on improving my skills, learning about technology, and developing a plan. Now it's time to put my knowledge into action. I'm eager to make new connections, spread the word about how Syntropy can revolutionize the web, and ensure everyone has the opportunity to be a part of this thrilling journey. 2023 is the year of execution, so the most significant challenge lies in front of me.
