Grab something warm to sip on and toss a log on the fire, or maybe find a quiet corner of a dimly lit bar and sip on something colder ;)  Katie Melua is a singer and composer who generally accompanied with acoustic instruments.  She plays guitar and mixes it up with a bit more upbeat jazzy tunes as well.

She reminds me a bit of Norah Jones and I selected a few music videos for anyone interested.

I've got to give a couple thumbs up on the clever video to this one.  It's fun trying to figure out how they filmed it.

9 Million Bicycles by Katie Melua

My father raised a family with 5 children painting and teaching art.  He's over 80 and still teaching classes.  This video reminds me of him.

Where Does the Ocean Go? by Katie Melua

There are so many other choices (you should check out her music if you like these) but I'll pick this one to wrap up the post.

The Love I'm Frightened Of by Katie Melua

Good luck on your adventure, musical or otherwise.

I'm limited to 510 characters for a description, so I'll waste a few making that comment. What else? There's a ton - are Big Bang and Cyclic Universe theories logical illusions? What forms of mathematics create beauty? Coffee, tea or a chocolate bar? ... or maybe what would an ideal partnership with someone be like? I'm both a "couch surfer" and explorer ... where might you like to go? I'm wishing us all the best.
