This goes to show how easy is it for children, of most species can become instant friends.

A wild fawn and child hit it off well - the deer reminds me of our baby Chihuahua, except he usually barks a few times first.

... and this one is great.  There was a woman in Canada I chatted with and she loved practically anything horse and taught riding.  I never really had any specific impression about horses before knowing her but now they always remind me of those times.

Animals have personalities too.
