Alien Worlds was one of my first steps into crypto. I saw that they are partnering with Binance for the forthcoming 'Planet Binance' missions so I figured Binance would be the simplest place to buy some TLM to use in the game. It was more complicated than I expected!

This is a guide for anyone trying to follow the same path.

(The steps below assume that you have an account with Binance and an account with Wax. I'll be describing the process for the Binance website, but I think it works pretty much the same way in the app.)

1. Buy TLM in Binance

Binance allows you to buy TLM with either USDT or BUSD. To do that:

• On the Binance website, click Markets > Fiat Markets 
• Search 'TLM'
• Click 'Trade' against whichever token you want to buy TLM with

2. Install and set up MetaMask

You need to download and install MetaMask (or equivalent) to transfer between Binance and Wax Wallet. Once installed, you will have the MetaMask icon in your browser extensions area.

Next, you need to set up the Binance Smart Chain in MetaMask. You can read the full instructions on the Binance website, but here's the short version:

• In MetaMask, click your account icon and select 'Settings'
• Select 'Networks' and click 'Add Network' at the bottom
• Enter the following details:
    Network Name: Smart Chain  
    New RPC URL: https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org/
    ChainID: 56   
    Symbol: BNB  
    Block Explorer URL: https://bscscan.com
• Click 'Save'
• Make sure 'Smart Chain' is selected at the top of the MetaMask window

3. Transfer your TLM from Binance To MetaMask

Next, we move the TLM to MetaMask. We're using the Binance Smart Chain, so make sure your have some BNB in your Binance account for gas fees.

• In Binance, click Wallets > Fiat and Spot
• Find the TLM row and click 'Withdraw'
• Open MetaMask, double check that the network is 'Smart Chain' and click your wallet address (at the top) to copy to it the clipboard
• Back in Binance, paste your wallet address
• Select 'BEP20 (BSC) Binance Smart Chain' as your network
• Enter the amount you want to transfer
• Click 'Withdraw'
• Use the same process to transfer some BNB to MetaMask for gas fees in the next step

4. Transfer your TLM from MetaMask to Wax Wallet

You're almost there! The final step is to use the Alien Worlds Teleport site to get your TLM into your WAX Wallet.

• Go to teleport.alienworlds.io
• Click 'LOGIN' under the WAX logo to connect your Wax Wallet
• Click 'LOGIN' under the Ethereum and Binance logos to connect to MetaMask
• Click the 'TRANSFER' button that appears under the Binance logo
• On the next screen, enter the amount of TLM that you want to move
• Pay the gas fee with the BNB in your MetaMask wallet
• The transfer is complete!

From there you can use your TLM in the game (currently only to stake planets, but no doubt that will change with Planet Binance), or you can convert your TLM to WAX via Alcor Exchange to buy tools on Atomic Assets, or stake WAX to give you more CPU time.
