I feel like it's been disrespectful throughout these 2021 NBA playoffs to continue talking about "what if" this team or that team was healthy or if they would've faced this team or that team how they would've demolished the opponent. These NBA playoffs are where they are at and it is what it is. It takes me back to when Jordan retired and the Houston Rockets won their championships, yet people speak as if they would've had zero chance of beating the Bulls at the time. Need I remind you that an Orlando team with Shaq and Hardaway beat the Bulls with Jordan prior to that and as much as I love Jordan, nobody is unbeatable. People had fits about Lebron going to the Miami Heat when he did and all that energy was actually pointless. He honored his contract and made his choice in free agency like any other player has the right to after honoring their contract. My problem is that many have gotten away from just enjoying the game as a fan, watcher, or however it's labeled. Right now today we will have an NBA Finals with 2 teams that have worked to get where they are and it should be enjoyed because it will end up being a first for all the young players that have put in the work to have this moment and it should be treated as such. I've always said that the media driven narrative is what helped to drive players to forming the "Super Teams" that everyone complains about. I think its exciting to see a team that hasn't made the finals or won it from a smaller market to even be in the position to win it because it brings the fans of the area joy and that's what the game is supposed to be about.
