Hello readers, in this post we shall talk about Storj, a company that provides cloud storage network built atop a dedicated blockchain. I've checked out their initial release and the testnets. The project seems fine albeit the uploading was a bit slow as compared to the traditional storage apps like Google Drive and Dropbox etc. Currently they're offering new users the following ways to support the network and earn tokens in return. One host a node and secondly store files on their network. This platform seems to be more suited to developers of Dapps as it encrypts and uploads files securely, splits files and distributes them across various nodes in an optimal manner also it retrives files without any data breaches.
