Overview: Hello folks, this post is a work of fiction. Read on to find out how one teen's journey into the world of blockchain helped to liberate himself and those around him from the brink of poverty and unemployment.

It was raining heavily, the clouds bursting forth all their fury. Antonio was walking home back from his school, his face and body soaked with the foaming bubbles of rain drenching him and his bag. He was big enough to move around now on his own having crossed the age, normally his mom came to pick him up. But now that was impossible, since his dad had divorced her and despite her begging to have the custody of her kids had denied her even a chance to meet them. The couple had two kids the elder one Antonio about the age of fifteen and Jose the younger one who was just ten. 

The door opens and Antonio enters the home, a mouse scurries away in distance seeing his shadow. The house is empty, except for few furniture scattered here and there. A broken vase with blood strains on it lies shattered close by, a picture of his parents together his dad a little serious and his mom smiling with the two kids is on the table but torn apart into two halves. He goes into the bedroom where his brother is lying deep in sleep, blood oozing out from a wound a gunshot to be precise.

The boy runs downstairs and out of the home, his sweet home at that. The police sirens can be heard in the distance.

A few years later...

Antonio was now nearly nineteen years old, a successful trader and one the youngest investors in the decentralized web technology. Walking across the street back from his workstation he finds a lady in tatters walking away from an asylum. The guards are running after her, and she away from them. Witnessing this queer sight Antonio comes close to the running lady and tries to pacify her, only to get a horrible shock, (for this was his mom). 

As the lady lay in bed seemingly recovering her sanity after seeing her son alive after so long. Antonio was informed that she had lost it way back when she heard that her little son Jose had died from the gunshot his own father had shot whilst in a drunken state, and her other son was declared missing. Antonio sits beside her and speaks to her in a calm soothing voice of all that has trespassed him in ťhe years bygone. 

The boy was picked up by a wealthy old trader who had no kids of his own. Apparently he had known about the troubles that their family had been going through. Thus in return for working with him as an apprentice, and doing his household chores (the man's wife was dead), he was taught the basics of trading in blockchain a thing he learnt very quickly. It did not take long for the man to realize that the young teenager was very good at predicting the patterns and frequencies with which the cryptocurrencies shot up or went down in value being very volatile in nature. In fact he became so good that many traders would often come to ask him for advice in investing into the crypto market. That was before the man set up an independent mining firm for him, and handed him over it's keys.

The boy's mother open her eyes and smiles, kissing him on the forehead and hugging him before laying down and closing them again and this time 

Forever.
