One Night Everywhere. O.N.E. For those of you familiar with King Gizzard you know it's a pretty ridiculous thought to try and recommend just one song. One album maybe but you cant just throw out one song with no other context and expect a new comer to just appreciate it as is. There's a lore, and there's a lot to understand. Even with this single.

Yes it's a single off their new album "L.W." which is the continuation of the album "K.G."  released 3 months earlier, which is the first full album of original content since 2019's thrash metal throwback "Infest the Rats' Nest" which was preceded 4 months beforehand by the folk-blues, boogey rocking "Fishing for Fishies"; but it shares most of its similarities with 2017's  "Flying Microtonal Banana". An album which explored microtones released the same year as 4 other albums each unique in their approach, presentation, and genre.

Yeah it's a lot. For those of you who haven't been aboard the King Gizzard road train, welcome to your robot stop.

Don't be fooled by the soft and falsetto intro to this song. It only takes about a minute until you'd swear your listening to a completely different tune than the one you started with. If you're a fan of Psych-Rock and haven't discovered this band yet, you might just in store for the biggest smile you've worn in years. Now of-course in the context of the album this song leads right into the next one, but I'll leave that to you to investigate for yourself. Spoiler alert: it's worth it.
