Instagram is one of the most popular social media platforms, averaging about one BILLION active users monthly, it is certainly among the top ranked social media's.
Instagram is used to post pictures of yourself or of something/someone else so that other people can see those and if they like them they have the ability to comment and like the photos.
On instagram, most people's goal is "Followers".
I am pretty sure that most of the people reading this already know the term "Followers" so i won't go into detail explaining it.
Instagram can also be used for chatting with friends.
On Instagram, there is a thing that is called a "Story".
Stories are sort of a feature that give you the ability to let other people know what you are currently doing.
Stories are automatically deleted after 24 hours unless you put them into Highlights.
Highlights appear under your profile and anyone who visits your profile can see them.
There are a lot of features on Instagram but i believe I have covered the most important ones so I will move on to the next social media now.
Facebook is a social media very similiar to Instagram, but different in many ways.
I won't go into detail for those ways because it would be way too boring.
Kids nowadays call people who use Facebook "boomers".
"Boomers" is a term that describes people of older age.
(heh, i remembered that term, thank god i'm not a boomer.)
Twitter is nowhere near similiar to the last two social media's.
On twitter, you tweet out whatever is on your mind and so on.
You can also comment on other people's tweets, and retweet them.
•Youtube
I'm guessing all of you know what youtube is.
It's a platform used to post videos of any category you want.
Your goal on youtube is to get as many views and subs and in return if you want you can monetize your channel and make money.
•Viber and WhatsApp
These two are basically the same, they are both used for texting with people and calling people.
