SEC made major change in definition

As of today, Securities and Exchanges Commission ( SEC ) made a major change in the definition of " accredited investor"

Accredited Investor is the definition of who is eligible to invest private capital markets.

Previously it defines investors who passed net income or net worth tests.

As stated in August 26, SEC amended the definition. Now it requires financial sophistication, need financial knowledge.

This changes can also affect cryptocurrency investors possibly
