I Like It, Alright??? 🙊 

Okay, so I do enjoy the noise.cash platform that started up a little over a week ago. But I'm not here to tell you to come join the dark side of anything. I just want to share some of initial thoughts and what I am doing with the platform. Basically, here's a review of a crypto social platform from a person who knows very little about crypto. Let's go!

So let's just dive right in. Their platform is still in its infancy. Heck, it might still be a fetus, but it is still somewhat functioning and attracting new users. It's aimed to be a quick social media platform, such as Twitter or maybe even TikTok. Just a place to enjoy "popcorn" content. If I am being honest, I much prefer that style of social media and media consumption. Could be a generational thing or a geographical thing, but it's just my preference. With that said, there is still a place in my heart for Publish0x. It's far more personal here. 

The main thing that is keeping me around on noise.cash is their tipping system. From my understanding their is a founders pool of funds in the form of $BCH, and this is how the user can receive their FreeTips (the tips the platform gives you for free to send to other users) from time to time. Just like with Publish0x you can choose what percentage you want to go to the author of whatever content you want to tip and what percentage will then go to yourself. My strategy is to try and send all my FreeTips at once in one transaction to someone. This is so that the network is having to send so many transactions and so my wallet isn't being slammed with a bunch of smaller $BCH transactions. 

I had just mentioned my wallet and I want to also dog into that a little bit as well. Another thing I am doing with this $BCH is that I am earning interest on it already. Keep in mind I did not own any $BCH before this, so all I have is from being on noise.cash. At first I was using the Atomic Wallet to receive my tips, but I then discovered NEXO and got an interest bearing account. Since then I have been sending all the tips to the NEXO wallet. They pay out interest on my $BCH daily so the compounding is going to happen quickly! So far I have about $16 worth of bitcoin cash that is earning interest for me!

As I said before, the platform is still growing. The devs tend to sneak updates in here and there without truly announcing anything. Today alone I believe they released a better email verification system to try and reduce bots and spam, but they also finally allowed us to have our own avatar icon. I know these aren't ground breaking, but there were all things that the community had been asking for so it is nice to see that they prioritized what we were asking for. 

I don't know what the future looks like for the noise.cash platform but I am willing to take the journey with it. I have made some good connections and earned some money along the way. I can't seem to find anything wrong with that!
