The BAT Might Never Fly To The Moon.
I’m not someone who likes to sugar coat my thoughts. I don’t write my articles to just skim the currency of a platform, because there are times when things are needed to be said.
First things first, BAT is very unique and has potential, but will it ever cross that gap into $1.00 or beyond? I wish I could say yes, but I have some doubts.
There are a suggested 4 billion users on the internet, using a variety of browsers. From Firefox, to Chrome, to MS Explorer and Apple’s own internet crusader. These browsers also run ads that, like it or not, make websites money.
The Monetization of websites is profitable for website owners and will be for a long time to come. This is a reality that BAT users and supporters might want to think about.
Content publishers rely on ad revenue and affiliate networks, like Amazon for instance and Adsense.
These platforms payout in better numbers and in fact can generate a living for some independent publishers and revenue for larger well-known websites.
These sources of revenue are too large for BAT to contend with.
Even if another 20 million people download BRAVE, that still leaves 3,980,000,000 people on the regular browsers we all know, generating income for website owners, businesses and corporations.
I believe BAT will find it’s nitch amongst crypto users and BAT supporters, but for BAT to cross that gap into everyday use by everyone, almost impossible if not just that, it is impossible.
Now don’t take this as a hate piece about BAT, because it surely is not my intentions. I’m being honest.
It would make much more sense if BAT developed a plugin for all browsers, perhaps then it could be more utilized by people on the 98% of the browsers out there.
The concept is great, and BAT is a wonderful idea with much potential. Really, but BAT has it’s work cut out for it and it should be looking to create a better sphere of influence and deliverance for its use.
I like BAT and I’m a user too. As a matter of fact I wrote this with BAT. It’s my browser of choice, but it really needs to think outside of the browser box, if it wishes to cross that battle field and be triumphant.
If BAT can develop a better means of implementing itself into other browsers, perhaps then it can reach the moon and beyond, but until then, I have serious doubts about BAT breaking into the big boy world of crypto and hitting anything above 1.20 max. If it can even achieve that against all the other browsers out there.
