XRP will be operating a Cross-Border-Payments Platform, and claims that they'll be able to execute cross-border payments at speeds 300x to 400x present speeds. 

As you can imagine, this will add HUGE value in this niche, and will practically eliminate "liquidity exposure" for parties involved.  They've signed on 200+ companies interested to participate in their offerings.

This is a project to keep our eyes on, as a significant industry which would be effected is the "Remittance Industry," which is a $700 Billion + industry, and will likely become a $1.5 TRILLION industry within 5 years globally.
