Beyond The Conspiracy Theories
We will one day wake up and be told certain parts of our respective economies may resume operations. I strongly doubt that all sectors will commence with immediate effect, if I am reading the current situation correctly. We have seen basic services continue through lockdown and are likely to see the business models with the least amount of social contact resume first and begin operating alongside the basic services industry.
I have much to say surrounding conspiracy theories and agendas pertaining to the coronavirus but have chosen to address the matter at hand. I will not be addressing conspiracy theories in any way, shape or form.
Imagine A Life In Tomorrow
Imagine, for a moment that we are 3 months down the line. Businesses are back to work, howbeit in very restrictive practices. More people have lost their jobs, some their homes and some their retirement packages. What will the world look like? Currently the American unemployment claims have surpassed 15 million, economists are predicting contractions of GDP that we would once have never imagined possible.
Certain industries may never recover. Restaurants will be among the hardest hit. I believe only a few chains will be able to survive. Weeks without turnover, compounded by fear as people avoid gathering and possibly instructed to avoid gathering, is a silver bullet for any decent restaurant. Restaurants need to be busy, I should know... I have been in the industry for almost 20 years.
October 2019 saw me end my stint in restaurants, selling my business to work in Crypto, primarily as a trader. A move I had been working towards for some years now. For the most part, people have surrendered to fear! Fear is their new boss, limiting them in every way. Typical business models are not conducive to these dynamics. Not forgetting that people will not have the spending power they once had. What type of business can survive in such an environment?
Not Just Survive But Thrive
Apart from trading, Crypto offers so many opportunities to earn that do not require customers, sales or physical places of operation. Monetization of content on platforms like UPtrennd, Lbry and Publish0x is fast becoming a business model within and of itself.
Search engines are even monetized, earning you Crypto with every search you make. A model designed to be self sustaining, while providing income for people all over the world. A world of independence from the system, where people can be unaffected by the economy, location and even a national lockdown.
This is Crypto, the light at the end of the economic tunnel. A tunnel so dark and evil, governed by unfair and broken systems. I am not saying that the industry is perfect and clearly has some dark corners, yet it still provides enough light to make your way through your economic life. Wisdom speaks when we listen and Wisdom makes use of both good and evil to conquer.
