The Most Prominent Bitcoin Hard Fork
Let's be clear, I'm not really a fan of any Bitcoin hard fork, especially as the team are merely hijacking the "Bitcoin" name, brand and influence. Instead of creating their own influence and brand they are riding someone else's wave. Not cool, in my humble opinion. However, there is still a great trading opportunity lying in wait. No need to date it, just trade it!
Honestly, we can for the most part agree, BCH is the most legitimate Bitcoin hard fork created. The others don't really have any use case at all. At least BCH does accomplish the narrative of digital cash. Small transactions, as well as large can be executed with pretty low fees. Bitcoin transaction costs are pretty heavy for smaller payments. However, if you are utilizing Bitcoin for larger payments, then the fees are pretty decent. Of course there is BSV, definitely a topic for another article. I don't want to unwrap that escapade right now. BCH also has a very strong market cap position, so it does have a fair amount of support and stability.
The Bitcoin Cash Halving Is In Eight Days
Yes, that's right BCH has a halving, for those who were not aware. The BCH halving is a mere eight days away. Expect volatility to strike. Last year we saw the Litecoin halving have quite a significant affect on the Litecoin price. From the lows of around $33, we saw Litecoin blast to approximately $144 in a pretty short amount of time. Even though Litecoin did not hold this level long but continued to retrace, it made for a very nice trading opportunity. To be honest one does not know what to expect during and after the BCH halving, however there should be a fair deal of volatility.
Volatility is the main ingredient to ensure a great trade. Litecoin saw it's price surge leading up to the halving, while historically Bitcoin sees the surge post halving. It is possible BCH will follow Bitcoin's path. Regardless of sudden price moves, limited supply does pose a naturally bullish factor for BCH post halving.

Recent Alt Coin Surges
Earlier this year we saw a mini alt coin season. Apart from stellar performers such as Chainlink and Tezos there was a common theme I am sure many picked up on. All the Bitcoin hard forks were top performers! BCH and BSV were obviously the most prominent but Bitcoin Diamond and Bitcoin Gold came blazing out to catch some sun, if even briefly. In any strong Crypto move, the Bitcoin hard forks have developed a trend of rallying pretty strongly. So BCH might just be worthy of a watchful eye.
