Eugene Fama, the renowned Nobel economist known as the "Father of Modern Finance," predicts that Bitcoin will finally reach zero within a decade.
Why? Cryptocurrencies violate all the rules of a medium of exchange as they don't have a stable value and people are using them as a sentiment and predictably in the crypto community. In a podcast with finance professor Luigi Zingales, asked what the probability with that, within 10 years , the value of bitcoin would go to zero?I would say that it would be close to one,"Fama" responded.
Is it a bubble?
Interviewer ask with Fama disapproval as it is a economic bubble, but a bubble is something which is predictable and in market nothing is predictable.
I'd say it's close to one, "Fama" replied.
