The RoulFi crew is back with a juicy devlog update. We’re grinding like crazy, almost done with stage two of our decentralized gambling DApp, and officially past halfway. Some details are still hush-hush (pre-launch vibes), but we’re hyped to spill the tea on our progress, roadmap, and the tech stack making #RoulFi a banger. Let’s roll!
What’s Cooking?
Stage two is wrapping up, and our Web3 gambling DApp is looking fire. Smart contracts? Check. Slick UI animations? Double check. We’re building a provably fair, super smooth betting experience on the blockchain. Not dropping all the deets yet, but #RoulFi’s about to shake up the game.
Roadmap
Here’s the lowdown on where we’re at and what’s next, keeping it chill for now:
Month 1: Foundation
- Weeks 1–2: Locked in requirements, picked tech (Node.js, Solidity, React), whipped up a Figma UI prototype, and set up the database.
- Weeks 3–4: Coded the core smart contract (MVP) with betting logic, Chainlink VRF for random numbers, and tests. Started API for auth and game history, hooked up Web3 wallets (MetaMask, WalletConnect, more post-launch).
Month 2: Core Vibes (Now)
- Weeks 5–6: Polishing frontend (home, profile, history) and game UI with dope animations. Linking UI to contracts for bets and wins.
- Weeks 7–8: Running internal tests on gameplay and smashing bugs.
Month 3: Launch Prep
- Weeks 9–10: Security audits (Slither/MythX, API, frontend). Deploying to mainnet (Ethereum, Polygon, BSC) and hosting on Vercel (frontend), AWS/DigitalOcean (backend).
- Weeks 11–12: Adding analytics (Google Analytics, Mixpanel), SEO, final tests, launch, and user feedback.
Tech Stack
Here’s the sauce behind #RoulFi:
- Smart Contracts: Solidity, Hardhat, Chainlink VRF for fair randomness.
- Backend: Node.js, Express/NestJS, Ethers.js, MongoDB for speedy data.
- Frontend: React, Web3.js/Ethers.js, TailwindCSS for a clean UI.
- Web3: MetaMask, WalletConnect (more wallets coming post-launch).
- Hosting: Vercel (frontend), AWS/DigitalOcean (backend).
This stack’s got #RoulFi ready to slay. We’re starting with MetaMask and WalletConnect, but more wallets are dropping after launch to keep it open for all.
What’s Next?
We’re tweaking the frontend and testing internally, then diving into hardcore security audits in Month 3. Gotta make sure this DApp’s bulletproof! More updates soon, so stick around.
