Dogecoin on the First Page of BBC – Seriously?

Sometimes I wonder how the world works.

How can a meme coin be praised on BBC, when BTC is mostly criticized (unfairly) because of the PoW or because of how much of its value it has lost.

Kabosu, a sweet Japanese Shiba Inu became ill on Christmas Eve. Maybe because she is already seventeen years old? Atsuko Sato, the dog's owner, said on Instagram that the dog refuses to drink and eat and that her health was "extremely serious." The post received hundreds of likes.

It was way back (I had to google – it was 2013) when she became famous. With her face and the face of Elon Musk Dogecoin became the number one meme-coin out there.

A meme-coin that is still accepted as a payment by Tesla (BTC not anymore).

Sometimes I wonder …

I don’t have anything personal against Dogecoin, but how can it be praised more than BTC or even ETH?

Do they do this just to get the views?

If that is true, then low you have fallen, BBC.

What also doesn’t make sense is the title on the BBC: “Dogecoin dog makes a miraculous recovery.”

Looking at the chart on CoinMarketCap all I see is red.

Enough crypto news today for me.

Guys and girls, I wish you all a great end of 2022.
