Rollercoin, is a website in which you make an account, then use the site's currency (RLT) to purchase a rack and miners and play games to increase your power, thus increase your hash-rate, and "mine" crypto. It sounds like a great concept, right? You don't have to deposit any of your crypto or buy anything and it does it all passively; while you sleep. But the reality isn't that simple.
I tried the site, a year ago, spent my RLT on a rack, to hold my miners, and then realized that the starting money they gave us, wasn't enough to get any miners. So, how do you get miners? You basically have to pay money. I won't get so pessimistic about it: You play simple flash games, on the site, which increase your hash-rate and mining speed. You then use the simple basic pc (miner) that your account gets and you use that to mine. I tried to think smart and started to mine the RLT, knowing that 16 RLT's would allow me to buy a miner, which worked all of the time. I did my mini flash game playing for 2 days, about 16 hours of game time. In the end, I earned 0.016 RLT. It wasn't enough to do anything and I spent, ALL of my free time playing the games. So......
Pros: *It allows you to earn in game currency and then use that to purchase miners, which will "mine" crypto for you all passively.
Cons:
*The time needed to spend on this site, in order to keep your basic free miner going, is insane. *Each RLT is equal to about $1 USD. So, you could spend real money on a digital miner, in a digital game site. I am not one to have available money to risk like this. Sure, the site might work. But I just don't want to spend money, making so little money back. Even if I did have extra income, how much would I earn from this site? How much would I need to spend in money and time, on Rollercoin, in order to withdraw enough to cover my investment? Not advice, but I wouldn't do it.
*****Update*****
I had gone back to Rollercoin recently to see how it is doing and the site has gotten more complicated and more challenging for new users. Basically, the site and many others like it, don't want YOU to be able to make money from their site, for free. So everything now requires you to pay real money.
