Let me say this: about a year ago, Chainers.io was a great website.  The site runs with the premise that just by registering, you are issued a flat formed stick man/woman/unisex character.  The site refers to this character as a "Chainer" and you gather or buy "NFT's" as clothing and accessories to dress your character up.  It does make sense and is a nice idea, giving the user a reason to buy NFT's, much like players spend money on cosmetic choices and items for characters in games like fortnite.  

Several updates ago, the website introduced a new feature which was tied to one of their "games", in which the player could earn crypto.  In all "play to earn" games there is always an element of microtransactions.  In this game, called "Farm.io", you get and start off with a single farm plot, which you then use to plant a seed, wait a time limit as determined by the seed type and then harvest and sell that seed for crypto.  

Again, it is a nice idea and there are other websites that have similar ideas.  At the time, as soon as just a few months ago, over the summer, you could sell your grown items for a % of the final total yield, like a % of a mining pool.  Every 11 hours it would pay out and you would get a portion of Poly (Matic).  As soon as Matic changed and went to "POL", they updated their site and completely changed the way the game pays out.

So, for example, once a day you could claim a bonus seed packet that would have anywhere from 1-4 new seeds in it.  You grow the seeds, harvest the vegetables/fruits and then sell them.  I did this throughout 5 months to get 10 Matic, which is the minimum you can withdraw with.  Then.....

The site updated.

Now, instead of getting these random seed packets each day for free, they cancelled them.  They give you a random seed packet with a sunflower and some green beans and corn.  The corn and green beans are listed as "Common" seeds.  Every time you harvest a plant, there is a chance that it would return back a seed packet.  Now this way they can return 2 packets instead of one.  If you have 3 of the seed packets, you can merge them for an uncommon seed packet.  If you have 3 of these you can trade for a rare and so on.  The rarity of the harvested item, from the rarity of the seed packets, supposedly will reward you with a greater crypto return.  But what this really means, is that the site was losing money as people like me were just using the free packets instead of spending crypto or fiat on the seeds.  

What they did to this site, was change it from a Play to Earn to a Pay to Earn.  Paying more, gets you better seeds and other resources which CAN get you a better return.  Which means that for people like me who don't like spending money on crypto, it makes me less interested in playing.

Oh yeah, the regular game part, with the clothing and accessory NFT's for you Chainer, can be used for their site currency called $FRI.  You used to be able to use that $FRI, and purchase additional seed packets for the farming game.  Now, since the update, they stopped that.  I can't find anywhere on the site, which uses this currency.  It is as if they cancelled the buying power of, but now forgot to implement any new use of it.  Why use FIAT to buy $FRI if it has no purpose?

This website is starting to feel like Pipeflare and give me those Scammy vibes.  Yeah, it did pay me one time, which gave me about $3 worth of POLY, but now it seems that it won't pay anymore.

If you are on Chainers.io, be careful.  I would also say that unless you are really, really stubborn, don't waste your time with it.
