Blockchain Real Estate
Updated in April 2022.
Real estate blockchain platforms are becoming more and more popular, but the movement is still very slow. While working on our blockchain project, I was researching and found about 50 platforms with different structures but all are in the blockchain real estate industry. Note that many are still in the development stage, but few of them are already offering passive income to crowdinvestors in real estate.
With tokenized real estate, fractional ownership is made possible and real estate transactions are liquid. The blockchain technology is decentralized and real estate security tokens are regulated for protecting the investor’s rights, so it is a kind of paradoxical blockchain, but it started to function well in some jurisdictions in Europe, USA, and Middle East.
Below listed companies are leading the way with some of the first real world applications for blockchain within the real estate industry in 2019. List is in alphabetical order and it was updated in December 2019. Somehow, I am listing the competition, but I believe that competition is a good thing because it opens doors to partnerships and make us to become better persons with better companies!
