Rarely, in almost any profession, the movement of an individual from one position of competence to another brings happiness. Normally, whenever you succeed in a position someone promotes you to another position, out of total incompetence.
Whenever an individual is placed outside his environment, without adapting him to the new environment, he will not always prosper. Thankfully there are exceptions!

In 1982, in another of those adaptations between comics and cinema, the subproduction "Conan, the barbarian" was born (yes, subproduction, because no one had faith that the film would succeed, so little money was put into the production!). With a low budget and taking advantage of the wave of bodybuilding that had taken over the American middle class, they hired newcomer Arnold Schwarzenegger at a low price.
The producers thought: Arnold was an icon of bodybuilding, the year was ripe for a medieval adventure film, to counteract the 1981 space year, Conan's comics had relative appeal and success and with a simple and straightforward script, critics would delight from the cult and sci-fi movies of the previous year.

In addition, the soundtrack was already semi-finished and, as the commission was not used in the film which would be produced, Basil Poledouris adapted it for Conan. This can be seen in various musical themes that the instruments are out of sync.

Anyway, with a defined plot, defined music, low cost cast, the villain was missing. Very well conducted by James Earl Jones, perfectly opposed to Conan. In real life, Jones and Schwarzenegger became friends: the former gave roleplaying tips and the latter kept Jones' form.

This chemistry, again dependent on the acting of actors and actresses, made the film a rare gem of transformation from comic to screen!

As a rookie, Schwarzenegger couldn't interpret the vocal parts very well, but as a bodybuilder, he had the ideal body language performance of a barbarian who posed for almost everything - just as he presented himself in competitions.

The beauty of this palsticity and the protagonist's obvious lack of speech transforms an expectation of failure into a monumental success that has also stamped its eternity in pop culture. (So ​​much so that it gave rise to the sequel in Conan the Destroyer and Red Sonja, another adaptation with relative success!)

Conan's acting from the movie's Conan comics came close to perfection. Schwarzenegger only starts talking in the film after 22 minutes of file and, even so, to encourage the death of some group of enemies!

The entry of musical points also made all the difference, almost participating as a supporting role. The orgy scene at Castle Doom, orchestrated and conducted synchronously by Basil, turns a scene - somewhat vulgar - into erotic poetry!

Rare are the films in which the protagonist's strong presence is not given by his vocal interpretation, but by the way he puts himself, the look and the energy he transmits in his acts.

Of course, without supporting cast none of this would be possible! And without a tall antagonist — Jones's size — it could have become yet another film that spills blood all over the place.

The almost monologue between flesh and steel, where Doom proves the superiority of the former over the latter is something truly epic.

The story itself is very simple: cruel ruler, who has long ruled a remote land, worshiping himself and any God, clashes with the past of a warrior who saw his family decimated and his faith destroyed . As his God did not depend on temples or places of worship, he depended only on the icon of steel. The plot that would shock the characters was ready.

Sprinkle this story with some spicy scenes for the time, of what would be today just a silly advertisement, some special effects feature, a certain raw love and a feeling bordering on revenge, gratitude and classic retribution that evil must always pay despite of the amount of blood to be shed, and it's an adventure classic.

The art of talking nothing made Conan come to life on movie theaters around the world and opened the door to productions for this new actor.

In spite of the film itself, Schwarzenegger was a sympathetic Austrian, respectful off-screen and very dedicated and intelligent: he took acting classes, used his focal skills to move away from the symbol of bodybuilding and become a symbol of 80s action movies: The Terminator, from 1984 - where he doesn't talk much and Predador, from 1987, was a coming-of-age for him in those terms and in speeches too!

After nearly 30 years on the small screen, he achieved the feat, such charisma and righteousness in his private life, of being governor of California between 2006 and 2011! Detail: it was a governor who managed to accomplish feats such as reducing the state's carbon footprint, modernizing infrastructure and increasing the state's efficiency, reducing bureaucratic costs.

While many new actors try their best to recite the Iliads, in an attempt to demonstrate that they are super actors, a person who had nothing to be governor, became a movie superstar. All his movies draw crowds to theaters!

This example of dedication, improvement and study should also be carried out in the world of cryptocurrencies.
