According to José Luis, legislative deputy, the president of Argentina will support the discussion of the bill that foresees the payment of salaries with Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

The speech took place during the deputy's participation in an event organized by the NGO Bitcoin Argentina, when Ramón spoke with lawyer Camilo Jorajuría de León. The event was broadcast on July 19th.

The deputy for the province of Mendonza stated that he personally met with President Alberto Fernández, who assured him that he was a supporter of the project.

The deputy hopes that the initiative will protect employees of Argentine companies, as well as the payment of taxes by businessmen who opt for the new method of payment.

It is noteworthy that Alberto Fernández would be a supporter of the discussions of the bill, but it is not clear if he supports the implementation of the project and Bitcoin.

Large companies in the country already support digital currency, such as Mercado Livre, for example, which has already bought Bitcoin as a store of value.

The big question remains: is there really honesty in using bitcoin as a bargaining chip between bosses and employees or is it more a Latin populism in order to win voters?
