Alien and Elon: the ship Nostromo and the ship Bitcoin.

In space, no one can hear your screams! It is with this phrase that one of the most iconic films in pop culture, with its unique monster, having acid like blood, challenged the viewer to go into a dark movie theater.

In 1979, Ridley Scott, not as famous as he is today, proposed to various studios a different film: in that decade, cinema saw many science fiction productions with lasers, spaceships, intergalactic wars and everything that comes in the package, he proposed a more intimate film, bringing to the public the sensations of a "haunted house" of old amusement parks.

These structures, in amusement parks, were used to attract the most "brave" and "fearless", usually challenging boyfriends, couples and teenagers. The idea was to deal with the fear of the unknown, the dark and partial deprivation of the senses in an almost claustophobic environment, with mirrors, lots of dry ice, puppets and actors acting as monsters. The result: the person paid to be scared! To get a rush of primal adrenaline from fear of the unknown.

The film, originally classified as science fiction, after the second week, was also classified as a horror film. The first to bring these two very different genres together.

It was fully set up like a maze, providing unique camera angles as well as the haunted houses. In the more tense sequences, it made the actors and actresses really step into the structures and just spoke to run away from the alien. According to a script with minimal details.

In addition, H.R Giger, creator of scientifically correct atmospheres and monsters, as well as extremely gothic and disturbing, was selected to conceive the visual aspects of the habitat and the monster itself.

Scott, however, had a problem: how to make the same atmosphere as the master of ceremonies did in haunted houses, but in a movie theater? How to captivate and create the expectation in the suspense viewer? The answer came at the entrance, in the letters that appear slowly, with the word Alien. In addition, the first takes, with random signals, with computational commands, with turns of what are supposed to be alarms, keep the spectator trapped, not knowing what is coming ahead.

This atmosphere will permeate the film from beginning to end, making the magic happen.

The film itself is relatively simple for today: the group investigates an emergency signal, will investigate. Crew member is attacked, parasitized by a being, taken inside the ship. The animal is born, killing the crew and goes, one by one, killing in an indistinct way (there is an eclectic killer, without racism or sexism, he kills of all colors and of all genres!)

A single detail escapes the normal scripts: the company robot! The apex, the highlight of the film is not in the Alien killing itself, but in the main plot that, like a puzzle, is showing: s the company did not selflessly send them there! It was really to catch the animal, to use the animal.

This is so evident that it permeates every other movie, including Prometheus, the movie before the movie. Besides, it ends up entangled another pop symbol in this story of corporate manipulation: the predator!

In the end, the robot opens the game and talks about the company's intentions and how expendable the employees were given the value of the alien itself. Robos don't eat and survive long journeys!

The surprise of us, at that moment, survivors, terrifies more than the creature itself. The robo's runaway scene is classic to this day! By the way, Ian Holm acts brilliantly!

In the end, Ripley is left, but not without fright...until two minutes before he can rest! Just like a haunted house!

In fact, the entire film revolves around manipulation, rational and emotional control, finding a solution to solve or escape (The escape ship doesn't fit all!) and, finally, survival. Space, indestructible beast (acid problem, if you pierce the hull!), feeling of dispensability and fright and more fright and more fright!

In the real world we have, in most cases, the same situation. The luck that the environment allows you to escape, something you can't do in space!

Erlon Musk shows the teeth of an alien: make news, sell assets, force a sharp drop, feed speculation, drop by half, launch support note, force rise, repurchase everything at half price and profit absurdly! That simple!

Like the Alien, he's not worried about who hurts, what happens to the ship, the cat, or Ripley. Like the alien, he needs only one living person to take him back to the safe environment, sleeping the bitcoin uphill journey until he gets where he wants to go.

Tesla goes back to accepting bitcoin and lo and behold 25% of the coin!

The alien, at least, had the honor and excuse to be driven by the primal survival instinct. Erlon Musk is another one of those pre-1932 financial market speculators: he has productive power, releases news, to capitalize more. But back then, it was supposed to capitalize companies through shares, now it's a mean profit!

And where does the company fit into this? The company is nothing more than the brokers who, know about these movements, and earn with the fees. And they gain from the gains and they gain from the losses. It is the machine that always wins, making investors expendable, as long as there is at least one left to take the animal home.

In the wake of the explosion of the Nostromo spacecraft, the question was whether there were more aliens, as there were too many eggs in the other abandoned ship on the planet.

This attack has cast doubt on the digital market: how many eggs are there left? How many other Elon "Alien" Musk are there?

The bitcoin market has become, in other words, something more like the atmosphere at Nostromo: from festive to dark and demanding caution everywhere.

Don't forget your cat inside the ship!
