In a deal made between Tom and FTX in 2021 he promoted the now bankrupt exchange in ads and in return received $30 million worth of FTX stocks. Then after the dramatic FTX collapse Tom Brady's stocks were worthless.
However, the story doesn't end there. FTX investors are now on the offensive and are demanding that Tom repay his $30 million worth of stocks. Their argument is that Tom promoted a company that was failing already and was an unsafe place to invest.

It looks like FTX is still creating drama almost 8 months after it collapsed.
