Over the last few days I have taken to writing about coins and trading pairs which differ from the normal and do there own things. These coins and pairs can offer some protection when the market trends are on the downwards slope.
However, I'm not done yet. Once again I went looking for coins in the far corners of KuCoin and soon enough I found another hidden gem. Backed Cryptos. Backed cryptos are crypto currencies that are held to place by a real world resource or currency i.e. USDT is US dollar tether and will always be roughly $1 in price. But, there are cryptos out there that are not backed by a currency but a resource.

PAXG is a gold backed crypto and will always be about the price of "1 fine troy ounce of gold". So if you fancy buying yourself some gold then this might be the way to go about it if you also want some crypto.
Gold backed cryptos are not the only ones out there there are Oil, Silver, Platinum, and so much more than I have the time to write about. But, if they have real world counter parts then are they crypto currencies at all?
