This is not the post I originally intending for today - the race I have created between Solana and LiteCoin - in my portfolio, but actually two more pressing things have come up and I am going to write one today and one tomorrow and if I get chance I will post about my race hopefully over the weekend if time allows.

So, to my point. In recent days I have been posting about how I am finally, after almost five years, closing in on achieving 30,000 BitCoin Sats on freebitco.in and even yesterday I posted about how with me being so close it had galanised me for one last push to reach my target, which also happens to me when the 5% interest kicks in.

And then I was kicked in the teeth - a reader posted that freebitco.in is closing down and that there is a notification on their page!*

*Just to be clear it wasn't the reader who kicked me in the teeth, just the news. Nearly five years of persistent no bullshit rolling of the faucet had almost got me to the line without playing any of the stupid sat-losing games and then suddenly this. I quickly verified it with a quick internet search and then I looked again at freebitco.in's home page and there was the link about it shutting down, which I hadn't previously noticed. Here it is all full.

I am assuming by this that at least I will get my 29,000+ Sats at some point but I am not holding my breath. In the meantime I am still rolling the faucet, mainly to see if I can achieve my goal, as described yesterday, but now with greater urgency before everything does finally shut down.
