So I was just checking my portfolio as I usually do and I saw something different on my dashboard. As much as I try to keep up to date with crypto news I had missed this one.

On the right hand side where a summary of my staking rewards is displayed it was showing more than DAI and TEZOs and COSMOS had been added. I quickly looked further into this and almost as quickly discovered they are offering 5% staking which is to my knowledge the highest staking reward they offer. DAI staking is 2% and TEZOs currently offer 4.67% which is an increase from the 4.03% they were offering less than a month ago.

I know that Coinbase don't offer the best rates and next week I am going to start staking with Celsius, but my first deposits are going to come from Publish0x.  It does seem however that they are trying to offer more, which can only be good news.

So what have I done? 

Many of you will have read that my portfolio was devastated by the collapse in prices that started around the beginning of September. One of those that collapsed was COSMOS and I moved it into an alternative non-staked currency to try to hold which it did at about 36% of it's original value - that is really bad news. I have now moved the same funds back into COSMOS which is still under-performing but at least it is staking.

My hope is that between staking and price recovery my COSMOS will begin to excel. Over the last 24 hours COSMOS has gained close to 10% on its value and I don't believe this is a coincidence. So the first step is to get that 36% back over the 100% threshold and then to affect a rebuild from there with my working capital.

I don't normally post twice in one day, but when I saw this I just had to share. I also hope that others who were adversely affected by the crypto crash of earlier this month will also begin to recover their losses and grow again.
