Sci-Fi Future - Nanotechnology

The Definition of Is Nanotechnology vague at best "the use of matter on an atomic, molecular, and supramolecular scale for industrial purposes".  "A nanometer (nm) is one-billionth of a meter, smaller than the wavelength of visible light and a hundred-thousandth the width of a human hair [source: Berkeley Lab]."  It involves at or near Atom level of structures to build new materials and devices.  One can consider the nanotechnology a continuation of the miniaturization cycle Example, the industrial and manufacturing process down to a billionth of a meter in size. How will it impact your life?  Nanotechnology is rapidly becoming an interdisciplinary field. Biologists, chemists, physicists and engineers are all involved in the study of substances at the nanoscale.
